The Pastor’s RANT by Fr. Pat Mulcahy

Weekly Reflections, Announcements, News & Thoughts

Lost Sheep, Lost Coin, Lost SonsGod’s Lost and Found

The most common items in our parish Lost and Found are sunglasses, umbrellas, books, and cellular phones. These and so much more are waiting to be claimed by their rightful owners. When the owner notices a missing item, THEY SEARCH FOR IT. When God loses us (or better said…when we lose God). HE SEARCHES FOR US. People will often give up trying to find a lost pair of sunglasses or an umbrella. But, GOD WILL NEVER GIVE UP SEARCHING FOR US. That is the incredible message of the Gospel this weekend. We are too valuable to God to lose or write off. Are you lost and waiting to be claimed? God knows where we are and He comes looking for us. Are we ready to be found?

Catechetical SundaySunday September 15th

A new year of catechism and faith formation begins in these coming weeks for kids and adults! We are so grateful to those who serve in the sacred ministry of Catechist and who volunteer their talents and time in evangelization and faith formation. We will bless our catechists and pray that the Holy Spirit will guide their efforts in bringing their students closer to Christ. Please keep them in your prayers throughout this school year.
