We want to thank all those who lovingly donated household items to help those who are on the streets of San Diego with their transition into permanent housing. Our Deacon Jim Vargas, also the CEO of Father Joe’s Villages, extends his sincere gratitude for the generosity of Mary Star parishioners.

Additionally, students from our parochial school, Stella Maris Academy, made special holiday art pictures for the previously homeless residents now moving into permanent housing recently. In the picture, behind them, are all the household items donated by our parishioners.
