Rosary on Wednesday’s for the Victims of COVID-19

This month of October, all are invited to pray a Rosary in the Divine Mercy Hour on Wednesday’s each week, between 3-4pm with your families from your own home. Special intentions for those who have died alone from COVID-19. Starting Wednesday, October 7th! *These are not held at Mary Star

Dogs, cats, parrots and so many furry friends joined us. Our blessing of the animals was full of joy and even more cuteness. St. Francis of Assisi pray for us and our animal friends!

Today we celebrate The Little Flower of Jesus, our beloved St. Therese of Lisieux. More than ever we need to remember her beautiful and simple words of wisdom like “It is love alone that counts.”

Last Sunday, Mary Star welcomed San Diego’s new Bishop, Ramon Bejarano with a special bilingual Mass. His pastoral visit was full of grace! From the perfect weather to the wonderful turn out of parishioners, we enjoyed every bit of this great Sunday!

Blessing of the Animals

Celebrate the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi and join us for our annual Blessing of the Animals! Saturday, October 3rd at 10am. Location: Outside, the same place as weekend Mass.
